Sanford Lake: A man made fresh water reservoir of over 2000 acres with about 34 miles of shore length Sanford Lake offers a variety of fun for the entire family.  The lake is open to boating, fishing, swimming, etc.  Typical Fish Species Available according to Michigan DNR: Bullhead, Carp, Catfish, Crappie, Largemouth Bass, Muskellunge, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Sucker, Sunfish, Walleye, Yellow Perch

Sanford Lake Park: Located on beautiful Sanford Lake the park is open Sunday – Saturday from 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM.  It’s staffed by Midland County personal.  It includes a large boat launch, sandy beach, swimming area, volleyball court, horseshoe pits, playground equipment, spray pad, pavilions, picnic tables, grills, modern restrooms, entry fee, etc.

Sanford Michigan: The Village of Sanford has a population of just under 1000 and is located in Jerome Township about 10 minutes northwest of the City of Midland in Midland County, Michigan.  There are a number of restaurants, gas stations, hardware & grocery store, and other amenities including a rail trail for non-motorized use.
